Hi, I’m Patrick

I’m a freelance digital designer from London. I currently live in beautiful St. Leonards-on-Sea, alternating my time between working, running after my toddler and being deafened by seagulls.

I create websites, graphic design and branding for creative companies and individuals.

When I’m not making websites or designing graphics, I like to read a lot – anything from classics to cheap(ish) thrillers (I’ve got my limits); I’m still watching The Sopranos through for the first time (20 years late); Oh and I spend a lot of time running around after my toddler.

While I am working, I might be listening to something from this playlist 👉

I got my first job as a junior graphic designer when I was fresh out of school, designing mostly boring things like restaurant menus and email signatures, but I did get to design gig posters for both Eartha Kitt and Pete Doherty (not on the same bill).

I am now a web designer as well as a graphic designer. Most of my clients are in the creative industries (Music, Film, Books and Art), but that doesn’t mean I can’t do corporate or serious – previous clients have included property websites and investment companies.

Here’s what I’m good at:

  • Building clean, design-focused websites through HTML5, CSS3, PHP, jQuery, JavaScript.
  • WordPress and WooCommerce
  • Custom WordPress plugin design – make your website do whatever it needs to do, no matter how niche
  • Graphic design for the creative industries

Often a website is the first impression a potential client will have of your business and what you offer. I’ll work closely with you to build a clean, design-led website that reflects what your business does, helping you stand out to your clients and impress them with a slick and easy-to-navigate design.

A bit more about me:

  • I share my office/studio with my wife, painter Elizabeth Power
  • I have met Ian Wright and Arsene Wenger. Just need to check Dennis Bergkamp off the list and my childhood dreams are complete

I also teach HTML, CSS and WordPress, amongst other things!
